Baths of Antoninus, Carthage

 We really enjoyed Carthage, it was probably the best part of that day

 Carthage was one of the most important trading hubs of the Ancient Mediterranean.

 The Archaeological Site of Carthage is a site dispersed in the current city of Carthage, so we didn't get to see it all.

 Nefta is a Tunisian oasis town.

 Djerba is the largest island of North Africa

 In Tunis I also found a couple of postcards of Djerba and I'm glad I bought them because a few years later Djerba would be inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list!

Matmata

 Also Matmata was used as a filming location in the Star Wars film series




Ksar Ouled Soltane

 Ksar Ouled Soltane was also featured in a Star Wars movie as the place where the character Anakin Skywalker lived as a boy.




Chenini, Tataouine

 Chenini is also associated with the Star Wars film series. One of the moons of the home planet of Luke Skywalker was named Chenini.
