Chaîne des Puys

 This was the reason that led me to Clermont-Ferrand. I once found a postcard of these volcanoes at a gas station on the road, but suddenly gas stations stopped having postcards, so after the inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage list I made a deviation to find postcards in the closest city.

Besides the beautiful cathedral Clermont-Ferrand has also this basilica, part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France
