The castle of Silves is one of my favorite castles of Portugal and very different of most of the castles of the rest of the country

To me the highest point of our stay in Algarve was the visit to Silves

Because I don't like beach, one of the conditions I had to go to Algarve was that we had to explore a little the surroundings, and so, we also visited Carvoeiro

We also did a quick visit to Quarteira, where my wife stayed with her uncles when she was younger and before I met her
