Tabarca Island

We didn't go to Tabarca, which is a good reason to return someday. However, we took a quick trip to Elche but I didn't find any postcards from there.

Basilica of Santa Maria, Alicante

 I enjoyed it more than I was expecting. Because it was still low season it wasn't croweded. The view from the castle is amazing, there are a few more nice monuments to see and the walk along the seafront under the palm trees is very pleasant.

 We went with a cousin of mine with whom we had agreed to go on a weekend somewhere where none of us had ever been to, so the choice fell on Alicante.
