Coimbra New Cathedral

Still, there's always something left to see. I didn't see the new cathedral, but I bought the postcard because I'm trying to collect all the cathedrals from Portugal.

Arch and Tower of the Almedina, Coimbra

I'd been to Coimbra two or three times before, but I'd always missed a good part of it. This time, I walked even through the narrowest streets.

Joanine Library, Coimbra

I was recently in Coimbra and for the first time I saw the local university but I didn't visit the library.

Vale de Maceira - Monumental Fountain

I had never heard about Vale de Maceira, but we passed there when we were returning from Piodão. Of course that I had to stop to buy a postcard

Piodão Church

We really enjoyed Piodão. We even had the chance to taste a few local liqueurs

Piodão

Piodão is known as the Christmas crib of Portugal

Piodão

Piodão is one of the Histical Villages of Portugal

Piodão

I think it was around 2011 that my wife and I went to Piodão

Soure Castle

This is one of the many castles in Portugal that I didn't visit yet. The postcard was sent by Martinha

Coimbra University

When Coimbra was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage list I thought that only the University would be part of the site, but actually a lot more properties were included. This postcard was sent by Paulo

Coimbra University

I never visited the building of the University of Coimbra but I visited its botanical garden. This postcard was sent by José "PilotOne"

Coimbra University

The University of Coimbra is another monument that I didn't visit. This postcard was sent by Ana "Ninocas"

Coimbra - Old Cathedral

Sooner or later I have to return to Coimbra, because I was there 3 or 4 times and I never saw the old Cathedral. It's a serious flaw. This postcard was sent by Martinha.
