Praia da Vieira, Vieira de Leiria

 Last Tuesday I went with my family to see the fantastic Iron Maiden concert in Lisbon, and on the way back we stopped at Praia da Vieira. Even I, who am not a big fan of beaches, enjoyed it!

 We headed to São Pedro de Moel and enjoyed the beach for a couple of days

Alcobaça Monastery, Room of the Kings

 After the monastery we visited the Talking Machines Museum, a museum with 443 radios, 125 telephones, 287 microphones, 1104 vinyl records and 42 phonographs.

We didn't leave without trying the magnificent local convent pastry

 It was a very fun day! We walked all around the wall, had a couple of "ginginhas" and we tasted some nice chocolate

It was a rainy day, but it was worth it. We had the town almost only for ourselves and the fish was great

This year I was with my family in our first big Postcrossing meeting, where the main goal was to replant the Leiria pine forest, destroyed by the fire a couple of years ago. In the end, we all had lunch together and we headed to the city to write postcards.
