I've been in Vila Nova de Gaia a lot of times but besides the area by the river I don't know that much


Vila Nova de Gaia - Serra do Pilar

The Monastery of Serra do Pilar was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Historic Center of Porto. I've never been inside of the monastery but I was two times on the outside for two wonderful concerts, one of Moonspell and the other of Mão Morta.

So far I only watched two games in this stadium. I visited it two times and I also visited the museum two times. In the last time at the museum I bought this postcard

Porto Cathedral - Gothic Cloisters

I've been a lot of times in this cathedral but I think I've only visited the cloisters once

The interior of Santa Clara Church is one of the most amazing examples of gilded woodwork in Portugal

The Trindade church is located behind Porto's city hall. Here is buried Carlos Amarante, the engineer and architect behind many important monuments in the north of Portugal, like the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus in Braga, Brejoeira Palace in Monção and even this church

Porto - Foz Neighbourhood along the Coast

The atlantic coast of Porto until the Douro river mouth is also very beautiful. I already took some long walks there
