Montreux has always been one of my favorite places in Switzerland and we have been there many times

Geneva

This was the last postcard I bought in our first trip to Switzerland. Before taking the plane back we took a little walk by the lake in Geneva

I also bought this postcard in 2008 and it is also a UNESCO site. When I decided to start my UNESCO collection, I already had two sites from Switzerland, the only country besides mine from where I had more than one site!

Morteratsch Glacier

I bought this postcard on our vacation in Switzerland in 2008. At the time, I was not collecting UNESCO sites, but having it was very important in making the decision to start this particular collection.

Montreux - Freddie Mercury Statue

Something I had to see was the Freddie Mercury statue at Montreux, since I'm a big fan of the band Queen. It took us a while to find it but we finally found it and we shoot a few photos

Since we were in Switzerland for a whole week I wanted to see more than just Crans-Montana, so we went to see the Chillon Castle

At almost 3000 meters high is the glacier Plaine Morte, where the cable car took us

Crans-Montana is much more popular in the winter than in the summer, but I prefer the summer

My wife's brother is living in Crans-Montana since 2004, so in 2008 we paid him a visit.

Switzerland

I lived in Switzerland for almost 7 years, between 2012 and 2019. But but the first time I was there was in 2008. This postcard came in a chocolate box.
